Abstract :
At the University of Liverpool, we have already performed extensive research on the spontaneous emission from a pre-bunched electron beam at fixed frequencies in the X-band region. We have recently modified our apparatus to allow tunability over a wide range of X-band frequencies. In this paper we report the initial results of the variation of spontaneous emission output power with different operating frequencies.
