Abstract :
In this paper, quantitative propagation loss
measurements of Global System of Mobile Communication
(GSM) signals at 951, 952, 954, 955MHz through the office
building with vegetation along possible line of sight (LOS)
are presented. The measur
ement models agree well with
some existing propagation loss models. A new propagation
loss model due to building with vegetation
which is regarded
as
obstruction to radio propagation at GSM band is
presented. The model will be very useful for radio
-
frequen
cy
(rf) planning and link planning in building with vegetation
environment.
