Abstract
We report the numerical analysis of developed membrane pressure of bi-layer osteoblast cell in a micro chip at radio frequency. The effects of electrical nsPEF, electrode configuration, micro channel dimension and property of suspension media on bi-layer osteoblast cell were investigated. The electrodes were assumed to be embedded in the walls of the micro chip & osteoblast cell was suspended between these electrodes. . In this context It is observed that the efficient electroporation in outer layer is conducted with micro scale pulse duration and in inner layer with pico scale pulse duration although pulse interval is micro scale in both cases. We also find that the pressure is sinusoidal distributed over the surface of inner and outer layers .The developed pressure is minimum at pole ?=90 &?=270 which is independent of specification of electrical pulse, geometry of electrode, dimension of micro channel & property of suspension media. But their value depends on the above parameters. So the region near by the ?=90 &?=270 are assigned as high permeable area of the osteoblast cell. It is also exposed that value of pressure for outer membrane is lower than inner membrane with same specification. It reflects the rigidity of outer membrane of osteoblast cell. We also consider the effect of neighbour cells on membrane pressure to make the result more important and realistic.
