Secondary electron flow from the axially symmetric collector without magnetic field

Axially symmetric electron beam collector without magnetic field providing a low secondary electron flow is discussed. A simple formula for estimating the collector secondary emission coefficient is suggested. It is in good agreement with results of measurements. The suppression of the secondary electron flow from the collector down to values less than 1 × 10−5 is experimentally obtained.
