Abstract
We present the results obtained at SATURNE on the measurement of the vector and tensor polarization of deuterons at high energy. A polarimeter based on d + p elastic scattering has been recently built and it has been used to measure the induced tensor deuteron polarization in the 1H(3He, d)X reaction. In case of availability of a polarized 3He beam, other polarization observables can be measured. This reaction constitutes a different approach in the study of the 3He-structure at short distances.
