Abstract :
The position of the temperature maximum, the geometrical factor and the half-width of the main dosimetric peak of TLD-500K thermoluminescence detectors employing anion-defective corundum were studied as a function of the dose under synchrotron radiation (SR) with an energy of 12.6 keV. The dose curve was analyzed. The energy response of TLD-500K detectors was examined over the SR range from 12 to 41 keV. It was found that the dependence has a maximum at 17 keV and sensitivity grows at energies over 30 keV.
