Abstract :
Plastic scintillators based on polystrene and a polystyrene derivative (MS resin) have been produced by the injection-molding technique, and the light yield, transmission, fluorescence, sunshine hardness and radiation hardness were compared with those of casting scintillators. It was also investigated whether or not a fluorescent lamp affected the transparency.
