Abstract
This paper reports the experimental results of the Smith–Purcell free-electron maser (orotron) developed at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). The output powers from this FEM are 200 and 1200 mw, respectively, at 3 and 4 mm wavelengths.
