  • Abstract
    The Karlsruhe Shower Core And Array Detector (KASCADE) experiment utilizes a layer of plastic scintillators installed in the central-detector building to generate extended-air-shower triggers and to measure arrival times of shower particles. The electronics of this triggering and timing facility are described.
