Abstract :
Beta (63Ni, Emax 0.063 MeV) excited radioluminescence of indigenously grown crystal scintillators CsI(Tl), Bi4Ge3O12 and CdWO4 has been studied for its use in check-light source needed for thermoluminescence systems. Temperature coefficient of the light output over 298–323 K and the beta-induced TL of the scintillators over 298–553 K are reported.
