Dead-time distortions in polarization measurements

The influence of the dead-time distortions on the measured value of deuteron beam polarization is investigated. The possibility to reconstruct the value of beam polarization up to a dead time of about 50% with a small systematic error is demonstrated. A few particular cases of polarization experiments in the case of a large dead-time of the setup are discussed.
