Modern Entertainment Instruments: Function of Contemporary Media

Industrial Revolution and migration from rural areas to urban areas caused many different changes and traditional life style changed into modern life style on technology base in consumption approach. People began to live in a high rhythm life style in modern urban areas and got tired much and need to relax and entertainment much too. Modern life style grew rapidly on the earth and people adopted the attractive and entertaining style easily. This study discusses entertainment role of media on technology base in modern age. Modern age brought people who did not leave their traditions completely numerous problems and presented people colorful and exciting instruments against problems in urban areas. Technology had a sovereignty in the world for a century and people perceive that technology is a main component of their lives. Technology presents people many facilities to ease life and to entertain people. Though there are spiritual and philosophical contents on media, a lot of people are interested in media to make fun or to spend enjoyable times. People choose the nearest and the cheapest entertaining instruments that are media and find enjoyable world in media products. Media can find many materials for entertainment in the world and gain much money via entertainment.
