Cloud Computing Technology in Iran: Opportunities, Threats.

Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet as a base for service provision. Some strategies are provided to implement and adopt cloud computing by organizations and enterprises. The Main purpose of these strategies is to help organizations to adopt cloud computing opportunities and prevent its threats. In this article, we tried to assess different aspects and strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of these strategies for Iranian organizations and enterprises. In addition some recommendations are provided for Iranian organizations and enterprises to help them to adopt cloud computing technology. In section one, an introduction to cloud computing technology and its specification is provided. In section two, a literature review about cloud computing services, models and strategies is provided. In section three, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of cloud computing and in section four, some recommendations for cloud computing adoption in Iranian organizations and enterprises are provided.
