Performance Evaluation of Representatives of Insurance Companies in Iran Using Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)

This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of representatives of insurance companies in Iran, and for this purpose, after studying previous studies carried out, the research variables were determined. To assess the performance of Representatives, a combined analytic network process ANP and data envelopment analysis DEA and the CCR model to measure the operational efficiency of decision-making units are used. Based on the purpose, research method is applicable and based on how data collection is descriptive. The population of the study is all insurance companies which have worked in Iran in 2011. First, the survey questionnaires were distributed to senior managers of insurance companies, and then by use of the process of network analysis, variables weights were determined. After normalizing the data using DEA, the efficiency of representatives of insurance companies was determined, DEY insurance company is another insurance company and RAZI insurance company has weaker performance than other firms.
