Abstract
An experimental setup and data correction method were established for the measurements of elastic scattering cross-sections for neutrons of tens of MeV at TIARA facility of JAERI. Data can be obtained for 25 laboratory angles between 2.6° and 53.0° by utilizing a 7Li(p,n) quasi-monoenergetic neutron source and a time-of-flight method (TOF). Data correction for the effects of inelastic neutrons and a finite sample size is done using the LA 150 data. Typical results of neutron elastic scattering are presented as well as the experimental and data correction methods.
