A versatile muon trigger system FPGAs based

This note describes a muon trigger system detector independent, based on tracks identification. We developed a system able to select muons grouping signals coming from up to four planes in roads, each of them been correlated to a single hit channel of the plane chosen as reference plane. The core of the system is a bank of Field Programmable Gate Arrays which realize the correlation among the hit channels through a program preloaded on their internal memory.
