Abstract
At the Hamburger Synchrotronstrahlungslabor (HASYLAB) residual gas analyzer systems are used to permanently control the partial pressure of the beamline vacuum system. The system is used to detect leaks in beryllium windows terminating the beamline as well as searching for hydrocarbons to avoid mirror contamination. The system runs fully automatic and is easily accessible via the local ethernet. A server program allows the permanent registration of selected partial pressures. This tool allows to observe the temporal partial pressure development over an extended time period.
