30 years of CPO-conferences

The CPO-conference series was started in 1980, i.e. 30 years ago. Its main purpose had been to advance the understanding of the motion of charged particles in electromagnetic fields, wherein a very important issue has always been to bring scientists together who work in the fields of mass spectrometry, electron microscopy and accelerator designs. There were important advances in all these fields and at least a portion of these advances had been triggered by the CPO-conferences.
