Abstract
Energy dispersive reflectivity is a unique method in taking the advantage of a continuous spectrum of a synchrotron radiation source. In this study, the capability of this scattering measurement is explored. Using different incidence angles with the usable X-ray energy ranging from 4 to 20 keV, we can cover a scattering vector of range from 0.011 to 0.55 Å−1. However, the low energy tail of the detector response function and the slit scattering limit the application range at low scattering vector. The pile up of the detector restricts the experiment for a time-resolved experiment.
