Why photon colliders are necessary in a future collider program

R&D for photon collider mode should be performed simultaneously with that of e+e− mode of TESLA, etc. Final decision about the turn of different stages of linear colliders (LC) should be made only after first results from the LHC. It can imagine even the opportunity that the photon collider mode will start running before e+e− mode.
