Abstract
Leading order cross-sections for the production of charm quarks, e+e−→e+e−c(c̄)X, at high transverse momenta are calculated for both linear e+e− and photon colliders. The sensitivity of this process to the parton distribution parametrizations of real photons, especially the gluon content, is tested for both accelerators.
