Abstract :
R&D plans and efforts around the world are summarized. Some results of basic measurements are given and plans for more reviewed. Suggestions for test facilities and ionization cooling demonstrations are reviewed as are a number of hardware development activities aimed at particular needs of a neutrino factory.
