Abstract
Measurements of the performance of the LHCb VELO beam test telescope are discussed and compared with a simulation. The pulse shape of a fast VELO readout chip has been determined. An outlook on the 2000 beam test program for resolution and efficiency measurements on LHCb VELO prototypes is given.
