Abstract :
The first prototype for the EUSO Digital Front End Electronics VLSI chip has been developed by the INFN Genova group, and now it is in advanced test and characterization phase. An outline of the entire project is given, focusing the subject on the preliminary results we obtained during bench test in the last months.
