Abstract :
For shaping the pulse of the J-PARC, we have been developing an energy filter, a “Drabkin energy filter”, by means of spatial neutron spin resonance. In this paper, we present simulations on pulse shaping by a “double Drabkin energy filter” for J-PARC and propose its utilization as a fast neutron chopper. We also present an experimental result of a performance test of a Drabkinʹs resonator with 200 current sheets.
