Risk Analysis: An Investment in Engineering

Application of the process risk analysis methodology and the use of risk analysis techniques on all enterprise-engineering phases (research, project, erection, commissioning, start-up, operation, plant modifications and decommissioning) is presented and discussed. The respective advantages and disadvantages of the selected techniques are also examined. A technical flow to the use of the appropriated safety and risk analyses path is proposed.
