Implementation of TDCR method in KRISS

Among the LSC techniques used for the standardization of radionuclides, the TDCR method is the only absolute measurement technique. This method consists of the theoretical calculations of counting efficiencies and the experimental data obtained using a special liquid scintillation equipment. Design, construction and characteristics of the KRISS TDCR systems are reported. Also presented are the preliminary results of the activity measurements for the pure-beta emitting nuclides of H 3 and C 14 .
