  • Abstract
    The Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA)-Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) is advancing a “μSR project” at the J-PARC MLF muon science facility (MUSE). This project entails extracting part of the muon beam into a muon spectrometer constructed downstream from the Decay/Surface muon beam line. One of the main subjects of study at the ASRC μSR project will be an examination of strongly correlated electron systems, especially f-electron systems. The intense muon beams available at MUSE will yield new insights for f-electron physics.
