Abstract
The neutron beam line no. 10 (BL10) of JSNS, NOBORU, has been constructed in the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility (MLF) at J-PARC. The prime mission of NOBORU is facility diagnostics to study neutronic performance of JSNS. Validation of unique neutronics design features of JSNS is the major motivation for this purpose. NBORU has another aspect as a test beam port to encourage introducing innovative instruments into JSNS. Several experiments under planning for which NOBORU is served as the test beam port are described briefly.
