Abstract :
This paper is a continuation of our work that describes the temperature behavior of doped NaI(Tl) scintillators as a convolution between the temperature-dependent shape of the light output and the pulse-response function of the shaper. The effects from temperature and shaping on the nonproportionality of the NaI(Tl) γ spectrum are evaluated. We present a quantitative technique for separate measurement of slow and fast light components and for stabilization of the pulse shape in NaI(Tl) detectors.
