Abstract
A data set originating from a forest ecosystem study at Solling (Germany) between 1969 and 1990 is described. The data set was distributed among the participants of the workshop ‘Comparison of Forest-Soil-Atmosphere Models’, which was held in 1993. The purpose was to evaluate the performance of these models on a common data set. The data set is rather complete, although it is focused on soil chemistry and nutrient cycling.
