Abstract
Ad hoc networks are a new paradigm of wireless communications. There is no fixed infrastructure such as base
sites or switching centers; meanwhile, the nodes are so far from each other that their messages could be reached
their destinations. In this paper, we explained and compared a multi- path routing SMORT protocol and DAR
protocol for routing in Ad hoc networks along with description of their applications.
