Abstract :
This study examined the relationship between moral stress in employees and their
occupational motivation at executive organizations in Anar town. The research method was
descriptive and correlational, statistical population in this study consisted of 310 staff who
was working in Anar executive organizations. Moral stress and occupational motivation
questionnaires have been research instruments in present study. Besides, in moral stress
questionnaire, the validity and reliability coefficients have been measured respectively, 0. 95,
0.94, validity and reliability coefficients in occupational motivation have been 0.94 and 0.89,
respectively. Meanwhile, the research hypotheses were tested by Kendallʹs correlation
coefficient, Spearman and multiple regressions through SPSS. The results showed that there is
a significant relationship between the moral stress and the level of employees’ occupational
motivation. Besides, there is a significant and inverse correlation between the amount of skill
variety in staff and importance of duties, the nature of their jobs and their level of freedom and
the amount of feedbacks. Accordingly, it can be concluded that the more moral stress is created
in the staff, the less occupational motivation is observed.
