Abstract
Previous work has investigated the effect of bond length on core-loss electron energy loss spectra from fullerenes C60 and C70. In this paper, this is extended to look at the effect of bond length on low-loss spectra from C60. The loss function is simulated for three C60 face-centred cubic (fcc) crystal structures with different bond length, and is found to vary.
