Abstract :
Kinetic regularities in the dissociation of unstable subgrain boundaries and the evolution of disclination-dislocation ensembles in electrodeposited nickel under load are discussed with respect to a detailed analysis of acoustic emission and transmission electron microscopy data. Phenomenological models are suggested in order to describe the processes of dissociation of terminated subboundaries and evolution of disclination dipoles. Corresponding methods of statistical and autocorrelation analysis of acoustic emission are developed in order to compare theoretical conclusions with experimental results.
