Abstract :
Magnetomechanical properties of rapidly quenched materials are discussed. The magnetomechanical coupling and ΔE effect depend on magnetostriction and anisotropy. A crystallization reduced the magnetostriction and the magnetomechanical coupling practically vanishes.
