Abstract :
Continuous cooling diagrams are reported for two A2 or B2 single-phase alloys of the Al–Nb–Ti system. The cooling rates, performed from 1260°C, ranged from 100 to 0.25 K s−1. Out-of-equilibrium phase transformations were observed for the fast cooling rates while quasi-equilibrium transitions were recorded for the lower.
