Abstract :
This paper discusses the relationship of temperature-dependent resistivity ϱ(T) with the content of metalloid in amorphous TM-M alloys on the basis of the extended Ziman theory of liquid metals. The results show that the room temperature resistivity ϱo and temperature coefficient of resistivity Cf are related to the structure factor values ST(2kF) depending on the total concentration of effective conduction electrons Ce of amorphous alloys. By calculating Ce values, some amorphous TM-M alloys with different values of ϱo and Cf may be prepared as predicted.
