Abstract :
Magnetic anisotropies and line width of amorphous granular (Co66.6Fe7.4B26)−(SiO2) films with various SiO2 volume fraction (v) has been studied by using ferromagnetic resonance at 9 GHz. The perpendicular anisotropy (2Kup/Ms) is 3.25 kOe for v=0 vol.% and decreases with decrease in saturation magnetization (4πMs) due to the increase in the SiO2 fraction. Line width (ΔH) has a strong dependence on the electrical resistivity (ρ) and coercive force (Hc). Soft magnetic properties (Hc<1 Oe) are kept at ΔH<100 Oe (v≤20 vol.%).
