Abstract :
Fine-particle and single-phase microwave resonator materials such as lanthanide titanates, Ln2Ti2O7 (Ln = La, Nd and Sm), pyrochlore niobates, M2Nb2O7 (M = Ca and Sr) and perovskite niobates, Ba(M1/3Nb2/3)O3 (M = Mg and Zn) have been prepared by a combustion method involving metal nitrates and tetraformal trisazine (TFTA) at 350 °C. Particulate properties such as density, surface area and particle size and bulk properties such as density, microstructure and dielectric characteristics have been investigated.
