Preparation and optical properties of trans-polyacetylene with low content of defects

Mechanism of actylene polymerization with Re catalyst in polyvinylbutryal solution was investigated. It was shown that stability and optical properties of polyacetylene depend on medium viscosity, catalyst concentration and catalyst ageing.
