Abstract :
The influence of dopant species on the electrical transport properties was investigated in metallic polyacetyles (PA) doped with HClO4, I2 and HClSO3. The temperature dependence of thermoelectric power, S(T), exhibited the typical metallic character as a whole but showed clearly different manners for PAʹs with different chemical species as dopant. The difference indicates that the transport properties are affected differently by the dopant species with a different chemical structure. The temperature dependence of Voltage-Shorted-Compaction (VSC) resistivity, ρvsc(T), also indicates corresponding results with those of S(T).
