Abstract :
Experimental and theoretical studies of diblock copolymers with conjugated polyacetylene sequences are reported. U.V. - visible absorption and Raman spectra have been recorded from different samples and interpreted by using the bimodal distribution model. We have obtained a very good agreement with experimental data, even in samples where the conjugation lenghts of the (CH)X segments are short. In this case the distributions have been taken centered on ∼ 5 and 10 CC, with a relative weight leading to an overall asymmetric profile.
