Abstract :
Attempts at tuning the carrier concentration in organic conductors are reported. We report the synthesis and electrical and magnetic properties of the end members of a series of salts, (BEDT-TTF)2H2PO4 and of (BEDT-TTF)nHPO4. Both salts are metallic (σ300K=20–60Scm−1) with signs of localisation at ca. 15 and 160K respectively, and show Pauli-like paramagnetic susceptibility.
