Abstract :
In quasi-one dimensional conductors like Bechgaard salts the magnetoresistance exhibits a series of resonance like dips when the magnetic field is applied in a plane perpendicular to the most conducting direction and tilted from the least conducting direction by certain angles “the resonance angles”. We show that these dips signal appearance of the new quantized states characterized by a set of integers (N, M), which we call the Lebed state will exhibit doubly quantized Hall conductivity.
