Abstract :
The charge transfer compound tetrathiafulvalene has been prepared in thin film form by the method of thermal evaporation. The films were investigated by optical spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and de electrical measurements. Conductive films with in-plane room temperature conductivities in the range 5–20 S cm−1 were obtained after doping with iodine.
