Abstract :
The spin lattice relaxation rate T1−1 of 1H was measured in the spin-density wave (SDW) phase of (TMTSF)2AsF6 and (TMTSF)2ClO4. In addition to the sharp peak observed at the SDW transition temperature TSDW, the temperature dependence of T1−1 shows an another divergent peak at the temperature T∗ much lower than TSDW in both materials. It was found that the observed value for T∗ is proportional to TSDW with the slope TSDW/T∗=3.5. This behavior indicates that the mechanism of the divergent peak in T1−1 at T∗ is common in the SDW phase of (TMTSF)2X family and is closely related to the SDW transition. It is suggested that the structural change occurs in the SDW condensate.
