Block copolymers polystyrene-polyacetylene grafted on C60

Living block copolymers polystyrene-poly(phenylvinylsulfoxide) have been grafted onto C60 to form star shaped (PS-PPVS)xC60. These molecules could be converted to (PS-PA)xC60 by thermal treatment. Some of them stay soluble depending on the length of the solubilizing PS sequence and of the PA(exPPVS) block. The number of branches varies from 1 to 3. Doping, up to high levels, could be achieved in solution.
