Abstract :
The new coordiantion polymer, {[Cu(CA)(H2O)2](H2O)}n (1) (H2CA = chloranilic acid) has been synthesized and its structure has been X-ray crystallographically characterized. 1 crystallizes in the triclinic, space group P1 with a = 7.958(1)Å, b = 9.359(1)Å, c = 7.038(1)Å, α = 90.73(1)°, β = 103.46(1)°, γ = 84.61(1)°, U = 507.5(1)Å3, and Z = 2.
