Thermal properties of Li conducting superionic matirials

We have measured the thermal conductivity and heat capacity of quasi-one-dementional superionic conductors α — LiJO2 and Li2B4O7 from 100K to 500K using a transient hot wire method. The temperature dependence changes from T−1 at the lowest temperatures to T−2 below the phase transition at 242K and 238K respectively. Above this phase transition where α — LiJO2 and Li2B4O7 are a superionic conductors we see a week temperature increasing of thermal conductivity. Such bechaviour of last one in superionic state is determined with increesing of heat capacity in this rigion.
